When Fayette County schools are closed or delayed, jurors are to report at 10:00 a.m. Any variance from this policy for a particular day, in a particular trial, will be explained on the telephone recording for jurors, which will be revised after 7:00 a.m. to reflect any such variance. Jurors should never compromise their health and safety in order to attend court. If any juror has a real concern related to winter travel, the juror should contact the clerk of the court.
